Enspire CEO to Speak at Training 2004 Conference
Austin, TX - February 16, 2004 - Enspire Learning, a leading custom e-learning developer, announced today that its CEO, Bjorn Billhardt, will present at the Training 2004 Conference in Atlanta, GA on Monday, March 1 from 3:30pm-4:30pm. The session is titled, "Simulations, Stories, Case Studies: How to Engage the E-Learner" and will focus on interactive stories and simulations and their impact on the effectiveness of e-learning.
Billhardt will discuss how to develop e-learning in which students learn by becoming involved in their learning environment and how stories, case studies, simulations and interactivity can lead to higher course completion and retention rates. The session will also look behind the scenes of the development of several online courses and simulations, including the award-winning "Global Supply Chain Management Simulation".
Billhardt is an authority in interactive online simulation design. He created the Global Supply Chain Management Simulation, a simulation that teaches principles of supply chain logistics. The simulation was awarded the "Top 10 Training Products of 2002" award by Human Resource Executive Magazine. It also won the Macromedia 2002 Innovations Award. Billhardt has been an invited speaker on online simulation design at ASTD TechKnowledge, New York University, Online Educa, and many other venues.
Enspire Learning will exhibit its custom e-learning course and simulation development services at Booth 514 of the Training 2004 Expo Hall, held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
