Enspire CEO To Present at Learning & Training Week May 1st

Austin, Texas - April 22, 2003 - Enspire Learning, a leading e-learning content provider, announced today that its CEO, Bjorn Billhardt, will present at the Learning and Training Week conference in Washington, DC on May 1st at 10 am. The talk will discuss how to create effective online simulations.

Billhardt will discuss the benefits of using simulations in an online training environment, and outline how simulations can increase user retention, address multiple learning styles, and make use of entertainment elements necessary for developing engaging training programs. Practical steps to creating effective simulation learning tools will also be discussed.

Billhardt is an authority in interactive online simulation design. He created the Global Supply Chain Management Simulation, a simulation that teaches principles of supply chain logistics. The simulation was awarded the "Top 10 Training Products of 2002" award by Human Resource Executive Magazine. It also won the Macromedia 2002 Innovations Award. The simulation was successfully used in corporate training environments at Intel, SAP, Texas Instruments, and The University of Texas at Austin.

Billhardt has been an invited speaker on online simulation design at Learning and Training Week, The IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin, Corporate University Week, E-Learn, ASTD TechKnowledge, New York University, and Online Educa. His work on simulation design has been used at universities and in corporate environments in the US, Europe, and Asia.
