Enspire Learning Releases Interactive Online Training Simulations for Management of After School Programs

Austin, Texas - May 30, 2002 - Enspire Learning, a leading e-learning content provider, today released a set of online management simulations designed for after school program administrators. The set of simulations center on planning and managing successful after school programs, and use collaborative online tools to increase communication between programs.

The release of the simulation set is part of a project for the National Center for Community Education, headquartered in Flint, Michigan to provide a comprehensive interactive training resource that addresses the shortage of quality teacher training for after school programs.

In January 2002, Enspire Learning partnered with The National Center of Community Education, funded by the C.S. Mott foundation, to produce online tools for creating effective and sustainable after school programs. "Enspire learning is proud to be associated with the National Center for Community Education and help the organization develop highly effective online training from their existing high-quality courses and seminars," said Bjorn Billhardt, founder and CEO of Enspire Learning. "Our expertise in creating engaging online simulations and courses allows us to create a powerful resource that we hope will have a significant impact on teacher training throughout the nation."

The National Center for Community Education has played a vital role in this initiative by providing high-quality training to teachers and administrators across the nation. In 2001, it has provided essential management training for over one thousand after school programs, which serve over one million children and have been established across the nation with funding from the Department of Education.

"With Enspire's creative simulation development, the expertise of the National Center for Community Education will be available in an interactive form anytime, anywhere to teachers around the nation," said Seth Caplan, Executive Producer at Enspire Learning. "Users will be able to walk through real-world scenarios, solve interactive puzzles, watch case studies, and learn how to administer after school programs in an interactive and entertaining way."

Enspire Learning was founded in 2001 with the mission to create effective online learning. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the company provides innovative e-learning development services to corporate, academic, and government training departments.
