Enspire Learning CEO To Deliver Keynote on Simulation Learning at E-learn Expo Vienna

Austin, Texas - June 10, 2002 - Enspire Learning, a leading e-learning content provider, announced today that Enspire Learning CEO Bjorn Billhardt will deliver a keynote address at the international E-learn Expo in Vienna, Austria on Thursday, June 20th. The keynote will discuss simulations and the impact of action-based learning on student retention and performance.

Billhardt will discuss the benefits that interactive simulations have to offer, including increased user retention, the ability to address multiple learning styles, and the entertainment quality necessary for developing engaging training programs. The steps to creating effective simulation learning tools will also be discussed.

Billhardt is also participating in a CEO panel discussion on e-Learning Friday, June 21st at the same conference. The CEO panel is moderated by Theophilos Mantzanas, Ph.D., Principal, ICF Consulting and Marc Miletich, International e-learning Consultant, and will discuss the future of the e-learning industry. Other members of the CEO panel include Walter B. Kunz, Managing Director NETg Central Europe, Andy Pongratz, CEO X-ART Pro, and Andy Sadler, VP IBM Mindspan Solutions.

Billhardt has extensive experience in simulation design and corporate training. He has spoken on simulation learning at Washington University in St. Louis, The IC² Institute, New York University, The 8th Annual Information Technology and Distance Education Conference (ITDE), The University of Texas at Austin, and Harvard Business School. His work on simulation design has been used at universities and corporate environments in the US, Europe, and Asia. Billhardt is a native of Germany and will address conference attendees in German.
