Online Educa Invites Enspire Learning Director to Speak at International Conference

Austin, Texas - October 09, 2006 - Leading e-learning and serious game developer, Enspire Learning announced that its Director of Content Development, Nathan Kracklauer, will administer a pre-conference workshop and a general session at Online Educa Berlin 2006. The 12th annual international conference on technology-supported learning and training will be held November 29-December 1, 2006, in Berlin, Germany.

Kracklauer's workshop, "Creating Games for E-Learning," will run from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Online Educa's pre-conference workshops are intimate classrooms of 15 to 20 people. Kracklauer's session, directed toward intermediate to advanced-level participants, will be based on Enspire's active learning instructional methodology. The workshop will be highly interactive, requiring participants to leave their safety zone.

"We'll design a game, prototype it on paper, and then improve it," Kracklauer said.

Later in the conference, Kracklauer will speak on "Creating Transformative Learning Experiences." The session will be part of GAM67 (Gaming Applied to In-Company Training) scheduled on Friday, December 1, 2006, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. This shorter session is lecture-based and features some of Kracklauer's favorite e-learning examples.
