Enspire Recognized with Technology in Action Award

Oct. 15, 2007 - Enspire Learning, a leading provider of learning solutions, announced today that they won Soft Skills/Business Simulation Project of the Year for Training magazine's Technology in Action Awards.

A ceremony recognizing the Technology in Action Award winners was held in Salt Lake City Sunday night in conjunction with the 2007 Training Tech Solutions conference, hosted by Training magazine.

The winning course was created to improve sales presentation skills, specifically skills used in delivering virtual presentations. The course was divided into three modules each of which included a sales presentation simulation. During the simulation, learners are challenged to choose appropriate slides, manage a virtual audience, and deliver the entire presentation within a given timeframe.

"It is an honor to be awarded Project of the Year in the soft skills and business simulations category," Enspire CEO Bjorn Billhardt said. "This project allowed us to create an innovative solution around a common business problem - poor presentation skills. We are pleased with the outcome of this simulation and hope to continue to push our creativity to the limits to develop more effective and unique business simulations."

This was the first simulation using Enspire's sales presentation simulation template, Presentation Challenge.

Judges commented that the course included "excellent writing, scenarios, and interactivity." One judge wrote, "This was my favorite submission this year."

This is the first year Training magazine has given the Technology in Action awards. Categories for Project of the Year included informal learning, soft skills/business simulations, Web 2.0/social networking, learning content management, workplace learning, blended learning, software simulation, knowledge management, and rapid development.
