On April 29, 2015 Austin Mayor Steve Adler, AISD Superintendent Dr. Paul Cruz, and the Director of the Colorado River Alliance Sarah Richardson opened the Texas Colorado River Alliance Mobile Learning Experience. A cutting-edge mobile museum housed in a 42-foot trailer and developed in partnership with MuseWork, LLC and Blue Genie Art Industries, the Experience brings STEM-based water conservation education directly to Austin-area schools. Enspire contributed Austin 2040, the exhibit’s tablet-based digital game that allows students to grapple with the relative costs and benefits of conservation solutions. As students deal with the pressures associated with more people and less water in our region they learn about the choices and challenges facing all Central Texas residents in the coming years. Enspire’s Mary Maltbie, Robert Bell, Jason Bennett, and Kay Gilmore attended.
