Blended Learning

Blended learning combines different modes of instructional delivery, teaching methods, and learning styles that provide a level of interaction, repetition, and practice that makes learning stick. In many situations, blended solutions can provide the most effective, flexible, and cost-conscious training available.

Enspire combines computer-based instruction with classroom-facilitated activities to provide a powerful training environment that blends the best of both instructional approaches.

Computer-based Training

Computer-based instructional components enable students to learn at their own pace and to apply learning within a safe environment. Real-world scenarios of work situations can be presented to the learner who selects from multiple strategies and experiences the natural consequences of choices.

Classroom-based Training

With classroom training, learners receive more in-depth and directed instruction through group discussions, role-playing, and case studies. The ability to debrief computer-based activities with the facilitator and peers in the classroom reinforces the content and motivation to apply new knowledge and skills on the job. The facilitator provides modeling, coaching and subject-matter expertise. An effective facilitator can also uncover misconceptions, utilize group dynamics to hone key learning concepts, and prepare students to retain and to transfer learning into real work situations.
