E-Learning Development Process

Enspire’s custom e-learning development process is consultative and collaborative. Our process delivers best practices, visibility, and on-time delivery of an exceptional product. Enspire’s producers carefully manage each stage, ensuring visibility and timely completion of the project. At each stage, course material goes through a rigorous quality assurance and iterative feedback process. Below you can see what to expect from each stage of the development process.

Stage 1: Preparation
  • Select project team and hold kickoff meeting
  • Develop instructional strategy, create proposal plan, and collect content and media assets

Stage 2: Design
  • Collect necessary information from subject matter experts and learning technologists
  • Create concept document and design document to describe high-level and detailed vision
  • Write course script, design user interface, and create storyboards
  • Incorporate storyboards, script, and UI into prototype

Stage 3: Alpha
  • Incorporate client feedback
  • Develop interactive multimedia
  • Deliver deployment proof of concept
  • Release Alpha for review


Stage 4: Beta
  • Incorporate client feedback
  • Record and sync audio, including narration, music, and sound effects
  • Release Beta for review


Stage 5: Final
  • Incorporate client feedback
  • Integrate application into LMS or IT infrastructure
  • Release Final

After the Final release, Enspire’s Executive Producer sends a project completion feedback form to your team so that you can evaluate Enspire’s performance. Enspire relies on your feedback to improve our processes and our client services as we continue to create engaging solutions.
