Enspire Learning Healthcare Consumerism Course Wins APEX Award

AUSTIN, TX – July 7, 2006 – Enspire Learning, a leading developer of custom e-learning courses and simulations, announced that an e-learning program created in partnership with Watson Wyatt Worldwide has received a 2006 APEX Award for Publication Excellence.

In the eighteenth annual APEX Awards, Enspire’s team was honored under the category of Video & Electronic Publications – Education, Training & Public Information. The entries were judged on “excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.” Judges evaluated 4,756 entries in 11 main categories.

The topic of Enspire’s winning e-learning course was healthcare consumerism. Watson Wyatt, a global human resources consultancy, recognized that many of their clients needed a new strategy to combat rising health care costs. They chose Enspire to create an engaging course that educated employees on how to more effectively use their health care plan, avoiding costly expenditures like going out of network. The course is broken into a series of comic book styled episodes, featuring the villains and heroes of a fictional Metropolis.

“Enspire is honored to be recognized in the 2006 APEX Awards,” said Enspire CEO Bjorn Billhardt. “This is the second award we have received for this course, which demonstrates both the imagination and expertise of Enspire’s team. I am very proud.”
