EverFi partnered with Enspire to develop a unique, contemporary learning experience for college students that addresses sexual assault and relationship violence on campus. The resulting HTML5 tablet-optimized program weaves together cinemographs, interactive activities, high-quality video, and social networking technology to communicate a positive, solution-oriented message to Generation Z.
Data shows that 1 in 5 college women (and 1 in 16 college men) experience some form of non-consensual sexual activity by graduation. Enspire was charged with addressing the topic of sexual assault in a manner that would educate, engage, and motivate students; empowering them to identify dangerous situations and take appropriate action. Enspire was asked to take EverFi’s expertise in helping institutions address state and federal mandates for sexual violence prevention education and present it in an engaging and technologically-familiar way that would guide college students through a very sensitive topic.
Enspire developed “Haven,” a uniquely modern learning experience that presents the difficult relationship and social issues surrounding sexual assault in an honest and upfront manner, while maintaining a positive and hopeful outlook.
Haven blends together dynamic motion graphics, compelling interactive media, video “confessions” and the latest in social networking technology. The result is a positive, solution-oriented message that resonates with the most technologically advanced generation in history. The course provides opportunities for learners to explore content and includes challenges that test understanding. Relevant case studies are included throughout the learning experience to help put key concepts in context. Haven is now deployed on college campuses across the United States.
